A permanent memorial at the place of physical burial, or the burial of cremated remains is, once again a very personal choice.

Memorials may be all shapes, size and colour.  Viewing the immediate area where your memorial is to be sited is usually a good idea.  Some sites have restrictions on what is or is not allowed and viewing in the above way will enable you to determine what has been allowed in the past.  Additionally, it may help you to visualise how your memorial will look.
