Direct Cremation
An alternative to a traditional funeral but retains dignity and respect throughout.
It is a no fuss ceremony, often at the request of the deceased or when finances are limited.
Your loved one will be accompanied to the Crematorium by the Funeral Director and a Pallbearer, dressed in their full funeral atire. They will be transferred in a Hearse, again as would happen with a Full Service Funeral.
The Cremation will held locally at a Crematorium and at a date and time as determined by the Funeral Director.
You will be advised by the Funeral Director of the place, date and time so that you might take a quiet moment of reflection at a place of your choosing.
Please rest assured that we are here to help.
There are occasions where a Direct Service is required, but additional services are requested by the family.
Such requests might include:
Organising/Dealing with floral tributes
Viewing of the deceased
Hearse to call at family home or care home prior to the cremation.
We are extremely flexible in our commitment in delivering specific requests and welcome discussion on your suggestions, some of which may incur additional costs.
